Wadhwani AI is an independent, non-profit institute building AI solutions for social good. It was set up in 2018 with the support of the Wadhwani Foundation and works in collaboration with the Government of India to apply AI to challenges in healthcare, agriculture, education, and financial inclusion.

Wadhwani AI’s mission is to develop and deploy responsible AI that benefits underserved communities in India and other developing countries.
